Volunteer Time!

*Parents are required to volunteer a total of 10 hours each year. In addition to the volunteer opportunities listed here, parents can also earn 1 hour for each PTO meeting they attend.

Volunteers Needed! 

School Event Donations

September-May / 1 hour per event

To support student-organized and all-school events (i.e. dances, the Spring Musical, etc.), donations of various items are collected and dropped off at school. Online sign-up links are shared with the whole school via email or in the Lion's Roar.

ASB School Dances 

1-2 hour opportunities

Volunteer to help set up/tear down/ food prep our school dances! 

Sign-up on Sign-Up Genius a week or 2 before each event.

Volleyball Home Game Score-Keepers

Girls and Boys Volleyball Season / 1 hour per game

PTO Board Member

September-May / 10 hours (fulfills volunteer requirement for the year)

Each year the following positions are available: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Hospitality Chair/Team, Meeting Coordinator, ASB Liaison, Clubs Liaison, Volunteer Coordinator, Membership Chair, Dads-in-Prayer, Moms-in-Prayer, and Class-Parent Reps for each class.

PTO Refreshment Pick-Up

Must be available from 5pm-6pm on PTO Meeting nights / 1 hour

Refreshment Pick-Up volunteers can sign up for one or multiple pick-ups. They will receive pick-up instructions from a PTO Board member and will be responsible for bringing the food to the PTO meeting and setting it up. Pick-up volunteers will receive a reimbursement check for the food from the school office.

Spring Musical

1-2 hour opportunities

Volunteer to help set up sets, run tickets booths, sell concessions, usher, load out stage and sets after production has completed.

Baccalaureate Chairperson

April-May / 10 hours (fulfills volunteer requirement)

Seeking a parent to oversee & help plan the year's Baccalaureate Ceremony. Tasks include communicating with the church/venue, coordinating refreshments, & working with the administration on ceremony details.

Graduation Chairperson

April-May / 10 hours (fulfills volunteer requirement)

Seeking a parent (with a student who is not graduating) to oversee & help plan the year's Graduation Ceremony. Tasks include communicating with the church/venue, coordinating refreshments, & working with the administration on ceremony details.

Legacy Night  

3-5 hour opportunities

Volunteer to assemble silent auction items, set up, or distribute items at the end of the event.

Fun Food Friday Pick Up & Distribution

Most Fridays / 1 hour per pick up & 1 hour per distribution

Help our Office Coordinator pick up hot, fun food for our students from places like Chick Fil-A, Tom's Tacos & Costco Pizza, or Help distribute food to students.  Fridays 12:15 for pick-ups, 12:30-1:30 for set-up, distribution & clean up.
