Romans 12:1-8

Chris joined Ambassador Christian School in 2023 after working for over 25 years in public school, 20 of which were as a principal in the Torrance Unified School District. He had the pleasure of leading Magruder Middle School, Calle Mayor Middle School, and his last seven years as principal at North High School.

He holds a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Technology-Based Instruction, along with California Administrative Services Credential. His professional educational presentations and publications include: Instructional Leadership, Teaching Practices, Collective Efficacy in the Classroom, and Increasing Student Math Identity and Agency.

Working at Ambassador allows him to talk about his favorite topics (other than his family):  Jesus and learning. His commitment to Christian education is guided by God’s Word and he seeks to honor God by fostering a community where Christ is centered and students are equipped to impact the world for His Kingdom.

His joy in education is working to build strong instructional cultures, develop teacher leadership, implement student support systems, strengthen parent and community engagement, and create programs designed to expand student achievement and opportunity.

Chris is married to the love of his life for the last 34 years and has two phenomenally beautiful and brilliant daughters. He is ecstatic with the opportunity to serve at Ambassador.
