B.S. Purdue University / M.Div. (pending) Fuller Theological Seminary Mike Holland spent 20 years in the fitness industry - including owning a small gym, working in rehabilitation, athletic strength training, and coaching. His study of exercise and nutrition were fueled by a desire to help others achieve their goals. Mike has coached middle school and high school volleyball, taught middle school PE and Bible classes, and currently serves as a youth pastor at his home church. Approaching the end of seminary, he has discerned a calling into pastoral ministry. The Lord used health and wellness to develop Mike into a man with a shepherd's heart. Now, he gets to use athletics to connect with students and share his love for Jesus. Mike and his lovely wife Stephanie have four children. As a family, they attend and serve Trinity Lutheran Church in San Pedro. Mike believes that growth comes from time spent under tension - this is true physically and spiritually! The Lord faithfully uses the things that challenge us, to grow us. |
