About Mrs. Croak

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Communication from the University of La Verne, where I also played collegiate college women’s basketball. I am a recent graduate from Loyola Marymount University with a Masters of Arts in Counseling and working towards my Licensed as a  Professional Clinical Counselor to become a therapist. During my time at LMU, I worked as a graduate assistant for the Women’s basketball team in addition to being a Career Guidance Counseling Assistant (CGCA) at Los Angeles Harbor College. I have several years of experience working with student-athletes and college students and creating a safe and comfortable environment.

 

Before entering the LMU Masters program, I taught at Bishop Montgomery High School as a social studies teacher, where I developed a better understanding of the high school environment. I have worked with school administrators, counselors, students, and parents to ensure each student succeeds. My training and education qualify me to assist students with various issues surrounding academic, individual career coaching, college signing day, college  Montgomery High school, I also coached the girls’ basketball team and assisted with player development. I have also worked for the NBA Players Association to provide financial literacy and have just finished internships at Lawndale High School and Magruder Middle School.

 

I am dedicated to providing all students with a comprehensive school counseling program that encourages the development of the whole person, academically, emotionally, socially, spiritually, and vocationally. I love watching and playing sports. I was born and raised in the Lomita/Torrance area.  I attended school at First Lutheran, Hickory Elementary, Madrona   Middle school, and Graduated from Bishop Montgomery High School. I am a member of Faithful Central Bible Church and is a dedicated Christian  I have the desire and the heart for academics, athletics, and the social-emotional health of all students.
